Meet Mariam Harutyunyan — a strategic advisor, public speaker, and founder of the KinArmat Initiative. She works at the intersection of inclusive leadership, strategic partnerships, and health equity, empowering individuals and organizations to grow with impact.

 

Armed with a master's degree in Biomedical Sciences and a passion for societal change,, Mariam helps reshape systems, amplify underrepresented voices, and build bridges between communities and institutions.

A few words about Mariam

As the founder of the KinArmat Initiative, Mariam brings together thought leaders to tackle today’s most pressing societal challenges. She hosts the monthly KinArmat Talks, where she engages in meaningful conversations with influential leaders about leadership, purpose, and impact across sectors.

 

She also developed The Growth Circle, a leadership program designed to support mid-career women in elevating their careers, building confidence, and stepping into senior leadership roles. In addition, Mariam offers 1:1 growth coaching, guiding individuals in their personal and professional development with clarity and intention.

Mariam is the voice behind Women’s Health Uncovered, a bold podcast that convenes experts, policymakers, and advocates to address the gender health gap in Europe and beyond.

Recognized as one of Belgium’s 40 under 40 societal leaders and a Salzburg Global Seminar Fellow, she has spent over a decade at the intersection of societal change and leadership. Mariam also served on the Diaspora Advisory Board for IOM UN Migration.

 

As the former Executive Director of A Seat At The Table, she built bridges between underrepresented talent and leadership opportunities across sectors. 

As a founding member of the Global Shapers Antwerp Hub, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, she has long been committed to amplifying underrepresented voices and building bridges between communities, institutions, and generations.

 

She is further engaged in Expertendatabank.be, a Flemish government initiative aimed at increasing diverse representation in media, helping ensure more inclusive public dialogue.
